Taking the train from Perth will put you in easy walking distance of the best of this historical port city.

This section of South Terrace is a popular area to enjoy a variety of great food at with a taste and budget to suit everyone, with the option to eat inside or outside.

One of the main focal points of Kings Park is the war memorial, where the state remembers it's fallen soldiers that lost their lives protecting our freedom and the freedom of others. The view from this area of the Park is fabulous!

Kings Park is an area of 404 hectares of parkland overlooking
the city within walking distance. A great place to go to escape
the hustle and bustle of the city. A mixture of native bush and parkland
it is a lovely place, providing free BBQ facilities and numerous children's playgrounds

Black Swans at Lake Monger

These beautiful black swans are what gave our city's river it's name, but these days the black swans are more at home on the protected lakes. One of the closest havens for these and other native water birds is Lake Monger. Just 5 minites drive from the city centre many kinds of waterbirds breed and live in peace and traquility.
